Households in the Metropolitan Region will experience changes in their water bills starting in 2025. This is due to an agreement reached between Andean Waters and the Superintendency of Health Services (SISS), which establishes the rates for the five-year period 2025-2030. According to what was reported, the increase will be gradual and will reach 5% in total, distributed over the next five years.
This rate negotiation process, which is carried out every five years, determines the costs of health services for users. The current tariff agreement, which has been in force since March 2020, will remain in force until March 2025. The new increase Price adjustments will take effect on that date, marking the start of planned adjustments.
