The National Union of Workers and Transport Workers (Unott) reported this Thursday that the last departures of the buses will be at 19 hours next Saturday, April 30, on the eve of May 1. From that moment the services will begin to suffer.
The schedule applies to services urban in Montevideo, suburban in the metropolitan area, and interdepartmental, for the whole country. The latter are the ones that leave and arrive at the Tres Cruces terminal.
Through a statement, the workers also reported on the work on the taximeter: the task will stop at midnight on Sunday, May 1, and will resume 24 hours later; that is, at 00:00 hours on Monday, May 2.
The special hours will be for the commemoration of International Workers’ Day.
