The factors that have influenced the increase in the world population are indicators such as the Life expectancy at birth and the high levels of Fertility in some countries of the world.
Improvements in the world’s health services, nutrition and personal hygiene fit into Life Expectancy at Birth, a parameter used to quantify how long, on average, a newborn can be expected to live if current mortality rates are maintained.
On the other hand, although many countries in the world apply for a reduction in birth rates, in others high global fertility and adolescent fertility rates persist, which leads to an increase in the world population.
According to statistical data from the page worldometersthe annual growth of the population worldwide is 0.84%, which means that each year about 67 million more people register.
The most populated
The country more populated of the world is China with about 1410.54 million inhabitants. It is followed by India with 1,389.34 million people.
The United States, Brazil and Mexico are the countries of the American continent that appear in this ranking of the most populous.
Colombia contributes 51.27 million inhabitants to the impressive figure of 8 billion people.
The least populated
Among the least populated nations on planet Earth, Vatican City stands out with 835 people and Tuvalu with 11,650 inhabitants.
