The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) activated a warning of prevention due to waves in the Panamanian Pacific with effect until this Friday, June 24.
Among the maritime zones under notice are: Eastern Pacific: Coasts of Darien, Gulf and Bay of Panama; Central Pacific: Azuero Peninsula and Coclé; Western Pacific: Chiriquí to the South of Veraguas.
The Directorate of Hydrometeorology of the Electricity Transmission Company, SA (Etesa), warns that a deep sea is observed throughout the Pacific slope with waves that could reach between 0.8 to 1.6 meters in height.
