Viera: Ambulance in Tarariras “seems like a fairly half solution”

On the occasion of the appearance of the ASSE Board, chaired by Dr. Leonardo Cipriani, to the parliamentary commission that studies Accountability, the Colonial deputy Nicolás Viera (FA) asked about the use of the new unit.

“The driver assigned to this service has a schedule, and it is only one. Therefore, there is a wide margin of daily hours in which there is no coverage.
So, “when the worker is fulfilling his schedule there is an ambulance, but when he is not, there is no ambulance.”

“It seems like a pretty halfway solution. I don’t know if at some point this problem is finally going to be solved”, stated the legislator.

Dr. Cipriani’s response was clear “in relation to the Tarariras ambulance, it is common, it is used for the transfer of coordinated patients.”

Indeed, the ambulance will serve “only for coordination and during the driver’s shift. It is not planned to put more shifts of driver or checkpoint guard “said the legislator
