The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, ratified this Thursday the call for the union of the country’s workers to continue in defense of the independence of Venezuela.
He stressed that the country is recovering thanks to the workers union and its commitment to companies.
“I congratulate the workers who have arduously resisted the imperialist attack that was applied against economic income in the country,” he said.
During a meeting with the workers who mobilized this Thursday in various sectors of the city in rejection of the exclusion of Venezuela from the Summit of the Americas, Rodríguez received a document from the country’s workers, called “The voice of the class worker” in support of the Revolution.
Rodriguez referred to criminal lockdown of which Venezuela has been a victim, and especially its workers, and recalled that for this reason President Nicolás Maduro increased the salary in January.
“They sought to pulverize the salary of the workers and the workers’ president has supported the workers,” he said while denouncing that there are those who want to sabotage the economic recovery that Venezuela has today.
