One of the clients with whom they link producers is with Grupo Modelo, and the fintech, being a distributor of fertilizer and herbicide companies, will be able to provide farmers with these products to improve crops.
Garduño assures that with this business model, they remove between three or four intermediaries from the farmers and give a more accessible price.
Asked how they will deal with inflation in raw materials, Garduño said that he will seek to have the best prices in the market by being in contact with large companies such as Dow Chemicals, for example.
So far, the firm has 600 farmers in its business portfolio, but the goal for this 2022 is to reach 2,000 producers. The way to grow will be by raising capital funds and sales to large companies.
The main products that they give to farmers are barley, corn, beans, peppers and citrus fruits.
