With a banner in the city of Caracas, the Movement We are Venezuela (MSV) started their awareness campaign “We are humans”, to foster relationships of respect and promote the inclusion of sexual diversity in Venezuelan society, in its purpose of eradicating acts of hatred and violence against this sector of the population.
“From the MSV we are carrying out this awareness campaign, to understand that, despite the fact that we are different, we are all necessary for the construction of a more supportive country, a fairer country, but above all a more respectful country. ”, he explained to Venezuelan Television (VTV)the general secretary of the movement, Vanessa Montero.
The Sex Diversity Network, Guaranteed by the MSV, it is a safe and equal space that brings together all tendencies, to provide tools in the fight for human rights and against any expression of hate.
The activists informed that in all the states of the country there is a Sexodiversity Network, and they should only contact the territorial teams in each municipality, to request information, guidance and support.
“The sexual community can get closer to be part of a whole grid of activities, which not only take place on Pride Day, but throughout the year, from the training, from the communicational, from the cultural, to be able to contribute in this supreme objective that is that of society for all and for all”, expressed the coordinator of the National Network of Sexual Diversity of the MSV, Yendri Suarez.
The bell “We are humans”, will remain active throughout Venezuela with multiple training, dissemination and awareness activities, with the purpose of raising respect for human dignity; and as a flag of struggle, love and equality between Venezuelans and Venezuelans.
