Venezuela reports 29 coronavirus infections

Delcy Rodríguez, vice president of Nicolás Maduro, reported that in Venezuela A total of 29 new coronavirus infections were detected. He detailed on Twitter that 28 cases are due to community transmission and 1 imported.

According to the balance, Zulia is the entity that registers the most new community cases this Tuesday (12), with active infections in 1 municipality; it is followed by the states: Miranda (10), Anzoátegui (3) and Bolívar (2).

With the new data these are the statistics general of the pandemic in the country:

– Total infections: 523,654

– Recovered patients: 516,936 (99%)

– Current active cases: 997

– Total deaths: 5,721

“Protecting ourselves to win against the pandemic is the slogan that keeps us united. With prevention and mass vaccination in Venezuela we have controlled covid-19.
