The official data published on Delcy Rodríguez’s social networks indicates that only five states had reports of covid-19 on the day
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez published in her social networks the statistics corresponding to the behavior of covid-19 in Venezuela during the day of Tuesday, May 31, in which 29 new cases of the disease were detected, one of them from Panama and which was detected at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía .
On the other hand, the 28 cases of covid-19 that were documented in the last 24 hours were registered in five of the 24 federal entities in the country with Zulia at the head, which reported 12 new patients in the day; all of them being located in the municipality of Maracaibo.

Zulia is followed by Miranda (10), Anzoátegui (3), Bolívar (2) and Carabobo (1).
The states Táchira, Mérida, Trujillo, Barinas, Apure, Lara, Cojedes, Yaracuy, Portuguesa, Guárico, Aragua, Vargas (La Guaira), Delta Amacuro, Capital District (Caracas), Sucre, Nueva Esparta, are left out of the daily list. Monagas, and Amazonas.
The historical number of covid-19 cases was evidently impacted by these registered cases, albeit slightly. In that sense, in the 807 days that the pandemic has been in Venezuela, a total of 523,654 cases have been reported with a recovery rate of 99%; which to date some 516,936 people have overcome the disease.

There are currently 997 active cases of covid-19 in the country, of which 109 are confined in the public network of hospitals; 77 patients treated at the Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI); 42 people in private clinics and 769 Venezuelans who are in home isolation or “supervised community care.”
Delcy Rodríguez also reported that in the last 24 hours no deaths from covid-19 were recorded, so the total number of deaths in Venezuela as a result of this disease remained at 5,721.
