Venezuela consolidates various agreements as well as recognition of the efforts in the international arena of the Government of President Nicolás Maduro during the ministerial meeting of the coordination bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
This was reported, through his official Twitter account, by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, explaining that the work days continue, from Baku, in Azerbaijan.
“We started a new productive working day in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. We will be holding a series of meetings of which we will report throughout the day, ”he announced this Thursday on the social network.
In a video that accompanied his publication, the foreign minister explained that he met with the Algerian minister, with whom he discussed bilateral cooperation issues, as well as the recent holding of the Mixed Commission in Caracas, AVN reported.
He added that during this Thursday he will hold meetings with the ministers of Azerbaijan and Uganda, “with whom we are working on bilateral agreements,” he declared.
Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter
On the same social network, Foreign Minister Yván Gil said that, taking advantage of his stay in Azerbaijan, they commemorated the second anniversary of the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations Organization (UN), coordinated by Venezuela.

In the context of the NAM ministerial meeting, this Wednesday the Venezuelan foreign minister held bilateral meetings with rdiplomatic representatives from Asian and European countries, in which they touched on issues such as economy, culture, politics, he reported through his Twitter account.
In this regard, he pointed out that in these meetings he received wide recognition of the effort made by the Government of President Nicolás Maduro in the international arena.
Likewise, Gil urged this Wednesday the member countries of the NAM to consolidate unity for the construction of a new world in defense of multilateralism and solidarity among peoples.
During his intervention in the interactive debate of the ministerial meeting, the foreign minister expressed the need to “advance, with a sense of urgency and priority, in what leads to the establishment of a peaceful and prosperous world, in which our peoples can have a life with dignity and a future in peace and development; a world with social justice in which a truly just and equitable new international economic order prevails”, refers to a press release from the Foreign Ministry.
He also pointed out that they showed their support and solidarity to the Palestinian delegation in the face of the recent attacks.
