Venezuela congratulates the elected Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis

President Nicolás Maduro congratulated this Tuesday on behalf of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela the elected Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Drew, who was the winner in the elections held on August 5 in that Caribbean nation.

“Venezuela reiterates its commitment to strengthen friendly relations with the peoples,” said the Venezuelan head of state during a telephone conversation with the senior Caribbean leader, which he shared through his social networks, @NicolasMaduro.

During their conversation, the Head of State conveyed to the Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis the will of the Government of Venezuela to continue providing its supportive cooperation through the Petrocaribe Energy Supply Agreement, as well as the implementation of agri-food projects, interconnection regional airline, among other airlines, with financing from Banco del Alba, refers to an official statement from the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry.

In the letter, President Maduro reiterated his willingness to work constructively with the new Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis to develop a comprehensive bilateral relationship, characterized by cooperation and brotherhood through mechanisms such as the Petrocaribe Agreement and the ALBA-TCP in in order to continue promoting and consolidating regional integration and the well-being of the Latin American and Caribbean peoples.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, held a telephone call today with the Prime Minister of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew, who was elected in the elections held on August 5. of 2022, with the purpose of extending his cordial congratulations on his victory, as well as the people of San Cristobal for the successful election day.

During their conversation, the Head of State conveyed to the Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis the will of the Government of Venezuela to continue providing its supportive cooperation through the Petrocaribe Energy Supply Agreement, as well as the implementation of projects agri-food, regional air interconnection, among other areas, with financing from Banco del Alba.

Likewise, he expressed to the worthy people of Saint Kitts and Nevis that the friendly hand of our country will always be extended to our brothers in the Caribbean, this being an indispensable part of the historical legacy left to us by our Commander Hugo Chávez.

Finally, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterated his willingness to work constructively with the new Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis, in order to develop a comprehensive bilateral relationship, characterized by cooperation and brotherhood, through mechanisms such as the Petrocaribe Agreement and the ALBA-TCP, in order to continue promoting and consolidating regional integration and the well-being of the Latin American and Caribbean peoples.
