In addition, he praised the courage of the men who 30 years ago rose up in the rebellion that led to “the military aviators who insurged in the face of a degraded state of affairs; product of puntofijismo, partidocracia, rot» in 1992.
The minister stressed that these rebel airmen from the November 27 “they dared to take a step forward and say no to imperialism, to rottenness, to immorality… they took flight and said” present, here we are, the people of Venezuela… that November 27 in the statesman vision of Commander Hugo Chávez gave us the opportunity to re-found all the institutions of the Venezuelan State,” he said.
For his part, he Republic President and Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduros, sent a message to the Venezuelan military air component in which he highlighted the 102 years since the birth of aviation “which since its foundation has fully fulfilled the custody of our sacred airspace,” the President said.
Advances of the Bolivarian Military Aviation
In the act, the Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, pointed out that military aviation has increased its levels of aviation safety, innovated and created logistical solutions, as well as other long-range projects.
In this regard, he stressed that with the participation of the AMB this year they have neutralized up to 40 aircraft associated with crime and international drug trafficking.
Padrino López also recalled that this November 27, 202 years ago, in 1820, the Liberator managed to show that dialogue and understanding are possible to achieve peace, specifically, after his embrace with the Spanish general, Pablo Morillo.
In relation to this, he established that the current context advances focused on peace, despite the attacks of those who try to violate the institution.
