The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, arrived on Monday in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, to participate in the VII Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) scheduled to take place this Tuesday, January 24.
This was reported by Gil through a message on his Twitter account, in which he stated “Following the guidelines of Pdte. @NicolasMaduro We arrived in Buenos Aires, Argentina to participate in the VII Summit of Heads of State and Government of CELAC. We bring the voice and truth of the Bolivarian People! », And he shared a photograph of the moment of his arrival.
Next, Gil participated, along with social movements, in the first forum of CELAC Social, in Buenos Aires.

Likewise, the president of the Commune Development Commission of the National Assembly, Blanca Eekhout, participated in the CELAC Social, where she assured that there will be no imperial threat that prevents the meeting of peoples.

The intention of the social, union, political, human rights, indigenous peoples and gender organizations of the region is to create an institutional framework for the regional integration of the peoples, and formalize spaces for dialogue with the governments.
Venezuela denounces aggression
Earlier on Monday Venezuela denounced a plan of the neo-fascist right to attack the Venezuelan delegation at the VII Celac Summit.
The information highlights that they intended to put on a deplorable “show” against the delegation headed by President Nicolás Maduro, in order to disrupt the regional meeting. For this reason, instead of the Venezuelan president, Foreign Minister Yván Gil attended the activity.
