Venezuela and Vietnam review cultural issues

Venezuela and Vietnam promote cultural relations this Wednesday, during a meeting between the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, and the ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Le Viet Duyen, at the city hall in Caracas, within the framework of the development of peace diplomacy.

The information was released by Mayor Meléndez through her account on the social network Twitter, in which she explained that “in the Protocol Hall of the Mayor’s Office of Caracas we talked especially about cultural issues that unite us as sister nations.”

Meetings for the development of peoples

The mayor of the capital has held different meetings with the ambassadors of countries that maintain comprehensive cooperation with Venezuela, including Russia and Iran.

It should be remembered that Meléndez held a meeting on June 3 with the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Venezuela, Sergey Melik; and on May 25, he did the same with the head of the mission of the Iranian Embassy in Venezuela, Hojjatollah Soltani, in order to evaluate common proposals and projects for the well-being of the peoples.

These meetings are part of the policy that the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has been developing, cultivating and promoting the Diplomacy of Peace, to seek the growth and prosperity of the peoples.
