Venezuela and Honduras review bilateral cooperation agreements

The Minister for Foreign Relations, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Friday with the Honduran ambassador to Venezuela, Scarleth Romero, in order to review cooperation agreements between the two nations.

“Together with the Honduran Ambassador to Venezuela, Scarleth Romero, we reviewed the cooperation mechanisms, the progress of the diplomatic rapprochement that we are rebuilding, after the arrival of the president @XiomaraCastroZ, and the possible dates for the next Mixed Commission,” Gil wrote. in the social network.

Venezuela and Honduras share the policy of respect and self-determination of the peoples, through different integration mechanisms, such as the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac).

After the arrival of Xiomara Castro to power, Venezuela and Honduras reestablished diplomatic relations.

Since then, both nations agree on the willingness and political will to strengthen the ties of cooperation and historical brotherhood.
