The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported this Saturday that during the meeting he held with his counterpart from the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, that there is a clear path for joint work between the two nations that will continue to yield positive results for both countries, in the different areas.
The information was released by the Head of State through his Twitter account where he described the meeting he held with his Colombian counterpart as extensive and very fruitful.
«With the President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, we had a broad and very fruitful meeting. We have a clear joint work path that will continue to yield positive results for our countries, in different areas. Long live the union between Colombia and Venezuela!
Likewise, the National President pointed out that with the visit of the President of Colombia Gustavo Petro to Venezuela, he reaffirms “the path of union, work and the common development of our peoples.”

The president of the Republic, Nicolas Maduroheld a meeting with his Colombian counterpart Gustavo Petro who is making an official visit to the country for the second time after taking office in the sister nation of New Granada.
The meeting took place at the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas; and it becomes the second meeting between both leaders on Venezuelan soil that aims to evaluate the cooperation agreements between both nations.
The debate that took place in Office 1 will address issues of bilateral interest based on the previously defined road map in strategic areas, reports the Presidential Press.
The dialogue takes place less than a week after the reopening of the “Atanasio Girardot” International Bridge, known as the Puente de Tienditas, an action that consolidates the total opening of land borders by enabling passage for private, cargo and passenger transport.
The first meeting between the two presidents took place in November of last year, where they signed a joint declaration.
