Venezuela aimed at strengthening the bilateral relationship with Türkiye

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified this Saturday that Venezuela is aimed at strengthening the deep bilateral relationship with Türkiye.

The national president, who accompanied his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in taking office for a new term, reiterated that bilateral relations between the two governments will continue on the path of brotherhood and cooperation.

“The best wishes and the greatest success to our brother President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in this new stage of management, which will undoubtedly be one of development and prosperity for Türkiye,” he said.

Likewise, Maduro stressed that Venezuela has the friendship, solidarity and support of the peoples of the world. “We are sons and daughters of Bolívar, a Homeland that is an example of resistance, dignity and courage. Long live our Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy!”.

President Nicolas Maduroarrived this Saturday at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, Türkiye, to participate in the swearing-in ceremony for the re-elected Recep Erdoğan.

He highlighted the relations that Venezuela has with Türkiye. “We are fortunate to have Türkiye, a close and supportive alliance. Venezuela will always have the best disposition to strengthen the deep bilateral relationship with affection, closeness and respect. We will continue working for the well-being of our peoples!”

During his inauguration speech, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan thanked his Venezuelan counterpart for coming from afar to accompany him at this time.

In his presidential terms, Erdoğan has stood out as an important figure in international politics and for exalting his vocation for peace, through a message that defines him as a leader who adds positively to the European geopolitical balance.
