The National Institute for the Protection of Consumer Rights (Pro Consumidor), informed the manufacturer FIAT CHRYSLER AUTOMÓVILES, has notified Empresas Dominicanas (EDOM), dealer and official representative of FIAT in the country, that a possible inflator degradation has been identified in some airbags of Fiorino models manufactured in the year 2016.
According to the statement posted on the Pro Consumidor portal, in the country there are only 10 units of
vehicles sold included in this review call.

“At the moment no incidents derived from this malfunction have been reported, nor has any report been received alleging injuries, deaths or accidents related to this Alert,” they say.
Fiorino 2022
The consumer rights organization also received an alert that a possible leak from a pipe in the hydraulic steering system of the Fiorino model manufactured in 2022 has been identified.
Empresas Dominicanas notified the existence of a total of 1 unit of vehicles sold in the Dominican market.
