A man was trapped in his vehicle after being hit by a cargo truck this Saturday, on the Duarte highway, in the section between Santiago and La Vega.
According to a video circulating on social networks, it is observed how curious people try to open the front door of the vehicle, Hiunday brand, Sonata model, to rescue the driver who was trapped and who suffered minor injuries.
According to versions collected from witnesses, the driver of the Sonata vehicle interposed another on the way back and when he tried to avoid it, he collided with a truck that was traveling on the aforementioned road.
The driver of the vehicle ended up with several injuries due to the accident.
