80% in vaccination coverage has reached the Ministry of Health in the first three days of the school health program, as revealed by the metropolitan regional director of health, Israel Cedeño, highlighting that this occurred in both public and private schools.
In this vaccination process, children between the ages of 5 and 11, who have not been vaccinated in past days, are inoculated against Covid-19.
Cedeño said that in the school health program not only is vaccination against Covid, but vaccines are applied that every child must have according to the basic vaccination table established by the health authorities.
“We are prioritizing the age group from 5 to 11 years old, which was the group that had the lowest coverage,” he said, assuring that they are also vaccinating young people from 12 to 16 years old.
