The next Utopia Madre Earth will have soccer and basketball courts, an outdoor forum, an auditorium and a digital classroom, as well as a skatepark and urban gardens.
It will have a recreational milpa and will have children’s games with the theme of corn. It will also be recovered a semi -Olympic pool that is now abandoned, on a 3,722 meter site that despite having received public investment for the construction of sports facilities, was never inaugurated.
The capital president announced that this utopia will have care facilities, which includes a child care center, a care center for people with disabilities that will include a special pool for rehabilitation, a day for older adults, popular dining room and laundry.
“In the utopia we will have free popular laundry so that we no longer have to be washing the clothes, we will generate popular dining room to take the food made,” Brugada said.
The construction will begin the first week of May and it is projected to be ready at the end of next December.
He pointed out that in San Miguel Topilejo the strategy of peace territories will be carried out, in which the attention of the capital government is turned into a specific community in order to improve the conditions of the inhabitants and bring them public services.
Brugada proposed to the inhabitants to choose a property to build a “transition school”, aimed at young people who do not study or work, in order to move them away from violence and drugs. These young people will receive a scholarship and training for work.
“(For) young people who walk for bad steps and families do not know what to do because they may find the drug as a way of evading their reality.
“We want to support them a lot, there they will learn not only to study but some trade, they will learn culture, some sport but above all to have a decent and honest life project,” said the head of government.
