The Directory of joint venture evaluates the possibility of implementing payment facilities for producers that today are affected by the drought in a large part of the country.
“The situation is dramatic and requires us to be vigilant. (…) Our UTE teams are working on different possibilities. First, it is necessary to determine who the affected producers are. What it is about is that no one is left by the wayside in such a complicated situation,” the director of UTE told Telemundo on Thursday, Felipe Algorta.
An alternative is to postpone the collection of the invoice for January and February so that producers “are not financially strangled” and can get ahead, he said.
“We are working internally, looking at numbers and in dialogue with Livestock and Industry so that they eventually send us an exhortation with this request.is the way in which UTE applies these types of facilities,” he added.
