With the AntelTV platform, the telecommunications company makes available the transmission of channels in real time or on demand.
Antel’s president, Gabriel Gurméndez, described this announcement as a new milestone in the company’s relationship with its clients: “We want Uruguayans to continue to prefer us for providing them with exclusive services that differentiate us. In this case, adding great value to the experience of our mobile customers, who will be able to access the most watched television channels live. It is the ratification in the facts of our strategies to strengthen Antel in an increasingly competitive and demanding scenario.”
The proposal reaches all Antel cell phone users, regardless of the type of service, contract or prepaid, at no additional cost. Only the AntelTV application must be downloaded, or those who already had the VeraTV application must update it. By doing so, it will automatically become AntelTV.
For his part, the vice president of Antel, Robert Bouvier, described the agreement as “a new advance that allows the main company of the Uruguayans to continue improving day by day.”
According to what they communicated, content on demand will be gradually uploaded to the platform and in the first stage, customers will have the central news of channels 4, 10 and 12, from the five days prior to access to AntelTV.
Also, users will also be able to watch, exclusively for mobile, the 64 matches of the 2022 World Cup from AntelTV. Details about Qatar 2022 broadcasts on Antel cell phones will be communicated in the coming weeks.
Finally, from the cell phone company they affirmed that outstanding content will continue to be incorporated into Antel’s new content platform.
