Until February 21, the Minsa will be on Green Alert

As of today, Friday 17 to Tuesday 21 February 2023, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) issued the Green Alert for all health facilities in the country, due to Carnival.

With this Alert, all Health facilities are instructed to take the necessary measures to provide the population with the promotion, preparation and emergency response services in a timely and efficient manner.

The authorities indicated that given the possibility of an adverse event, the following steps should be followed:

Update the Disaster Emergency Response programs at the Regional level and Health facilities; Prepare the contingency program for Carnivals in each corresponding Health region.

Monitor the events that are generated in their coverage areas; extend their opening hours and, if necessary, including the availability list.

Alert the Risk Management and emergency response committee and reinforce the emergency response programs of the Health facility.
