Unit 2 Punta Catalina goes out of operation for maintenance

Unit 2 of the Punta Catalina Thermoelectric Power Plant (CTPC) went out of service and will remain so until next Sunday.

The information was offered to Free Journal George Reinosomember of the Technical Committee of the Trust of Catalina Pointwho stated that the plant will be out of service until next Sunday, June 19.

Reinoso stated that there will be no blackouts because other plants will be supplying power, including the Unit 1 of Punta Catalina.
