This, after the Temuco Court of Appeals definitively removed them as plaintiffs in Operation Hurricane, after not correcting a formal defect presented in the accusation.
It should be noted that as a result of this, the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, pointed out that those who caused the situation “will have to assume responsibility.”

This is why the legislators expressed their concern regarding the performance of the division’s new team of lawyers, especially considering that said team is in charge of various relevant causes for the country. One of them is the complaint filed by the Executive for the murder of Corporal David Florido Cisterna, who was murdered in the Pedro Aguirre Cerda commune.
“Once again we have to talk about the terrible performance of the Legal Division of the Ministry of the Interior, which in just over four months has already made innumerable administrative errors, causing the Government to be left out of very relevant causes such as the Hurricane Case,” they said. .
This is why the parliamentarians pointed out that President Gabriel Boric should intervene in the unit, requesting the resignation against those who are responsible for the act.
“If the President himself declares that it seems to him an unacceptable mistake and that there will be responsibilities, what corresponds then is that in the next few hours the departure of the lawyers who, without any experience, arrived in March because they are close to the Government, but that the only thing they have caused are errors whose consequences could be very serious for the victims,” they concluded.
