UDI deputies ask President Gabriel Boric to suspend his visit to Argentina and focus on combating “terrorism”

As a “passive accomplice” the UDI deputy Sergio Bobadilla described the Government of President Gabriel Boric as long as he does not adopt measures aimed at combating the “terrorist” actions that take place in the so-called “southern macrozone”, for which he urged the President not to waste time and energy on an official visit to Argentina, scheduled for this Monday, April 3.

The trade unionist thus reacted to the arson attack on 16 homes and two vehicles in the Contulmo commune, Biobío region, specifically on the shores of Lake Lanalhue, an act that would have been perpetrated by some 40 hooded men armed with firearms.

“President, take care of making decisions that allow peace and tranquility to be restored in the province of Arauco, take care of the most urgent, do not travel to Argentina,” said Bobadilla, in statements reproduced by Radio biobio.

“The Government, by not making decisions to control terrorism in the province of Arauco, is becoming a passive accomplice,” accused Bobadilla. “Mr. President: come to the Province of Arauco to dialogue to end terrorism,” she concluded.

The UDI deputy for the area, Flor Weisse, repudiated the events recorded in Contulmo and also asked the Head of State to suspend his visit to the neighboring country. “President, Gabriel Boric, we need you in the province of Arauco, Argentines can wait,” she said through her social networks.
