Two titles for Cuba in the beach volleyball tournament in Varadero

Cuba won two gold medals this Sunday, one in each sex, in the second stop of the North, Central America and the Caribbean (Norceca) circuit of Beach volleyballheld in Varadero.

The other gold was won by the Cubans Ayón and Carrasco by defeating their American rivals Travis Mewhirter and Timothy Brewster 2-0 (21-13 and 21-17), adds the news release.

The bronze went to the duet formed by Noslen Díaz and Jorge Luis Alayo, recent winners of the first Norceca stop in Aguascalientes (Mexico), where they won the crown by defeating 2-1 (18-21, 21-12 and 15-12 ) to Americans Hagen Smith and Michael Boag.
