Two tracks allegedly used by drug trafficking groups were detected in Zulia and disabled by members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), according to military sources.
The troops assigned to the Rural Command Detachment 11-1 of the GNB moved to the Los Caobos sector of the Jesús María Semprún municipality, Zulia to verify information provided by the Integrated Aerospace Defense Command (Codai).
One of the unauthorized runways measured 2,700 meters long by twenty-five meters wide, which was 80% operational. In said track, a satellite internet antenna with its respective cable was located.
The second runway had a dimension of 3,000 meters long by 30 meters wide, which was inoperative.
The military troops disabled both runways using machinery for agricultural use.
