Argentina will participate in the Satellite Fair in washingtonSatellite 2022, with a pavilion in the exhibition and a dozen companies from the local industry that will attend a commercial conference at the Argentine Embassy with US companies.
The delegation will be headed by the science and technology ministersDaniel Filmus, and of Productive developmentMatías Kulfas, accompanied by the CONAE and 12 representative companies of the Argentine satellite industry, reported today the Argentine embassy in Washington.
The Argentine companies will integrate a national pavilion at the Satellite 2022 fairwhich will take place between March 21 and 24, and will participate in “a commercial round table at the Argentine Embassy with renowned companies from the United States, as well as the launch of the Argentine Technology Day at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission “, indicated the diplomatic delegation.
“It is a pride to receive both ministers in Washington accompanied by companies that represent the talent, technology and potential of our country“said Ambassador Jorge Argüello.
And, he pointed out that “the sector offers so many possibilities that we are giving it highest priority to promote the different branches that make it up, since it is a very complex industry”.
He added that “for the first time we have a national stand, since before it was the companies that participated separately, this is another step forward which allows to display the technological offer under the Argentine brand“.
Between the National companiesinclude Invap, Arsat, DTA, Veng, Solar 54, Innova Space, along with institutions such as CONAE and the Aerospace Technology Center of the National University of La Plata.
From the United States, companies such as Amazon Space Unit, Ispace, Viasat, Honeywell, Spire, as well as regulatory and sectoral institutions such as Comptia and the Satellite Industry Association will be present.
On the occasion of the Round Table, focused on cooperation and commercial opportunities, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) existing between the companies grouped in Comptia and the Argentine firms, the action plan 2022-2023 and the incorporation of the firm Tlon Space to the aforementioned instrument will take place.
This type of initiative “contributes to the generation of high-quality employment, value-added goods and services are exported, investment is made in training and our specialists are valued. But, above all, it brings us closer to the ultimate goal established by our National Space Plan: contribute to the technological development of Argentina,” Argüello assured.
