The transition process in the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) began yesterday, with the visit made during the morning by the new head, Leticia Ramírez Amaya, to the offices of the agency. She met with the outgoing Delfina Gómez.
In a statement, the secretariat indicated that Ramírez affirmed that he will work to strengthen the dignity of teaching, recognize the professionalism of teachers, their vocation and commitment to the community.
She agreed with her predecessor on the importance of returning to face-to-face classes in the school year that is about to begin, as well as guaranteeing student access to excellent educational services. On her part, Gómez made some comments on the objectives of the curricular redesign, as well as the progress of the Benito Juárez García Scholarships for Welfare and La Escuela es Nuestra programs.
