The rector of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, Emma Polanco, assured that the tranquility that the UASD currently has is due to the support and support received from the management of President Luis Abinader.
The rector of the UASD spoke during the act led by the president, for the start of construction work on the new campus of the state university, in the municipality of Cotuí, Sánchez Ramírez province.
Polanco highlighted the excellent work being done by President Abinader with the expansion of the university and the sensitivity it has with the Dominican youth and the commitment to the preparation of each one.
“The tranquility that has existed in the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo has not been my fruit, it has been fruit of President Luis Abinader”, Polanco said.

He also recalled that a request was made some time ago for the creation of a simulation hospital for the area of science and health and thanks to President Abinader Today they have the most modern simulation hospital and the most up-to-date in the Caribbean.
“All this thanks to the support that the president has given to this public university, which is the university that responds to all the training and development needs of the country,” said Polanco.
The rector of the UASDHe stressed the struggle for many years for the construction of an Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in this province and also affirmed the happiness that the youth of Cotuí have for achieving a decent university city as the students deserve.
He thanked the youth and the country for electing a sensitive president who thinks of all Dominicans.
For his part, President Abinader also valued the management of Chancellor Polanco.
The mandatary He said he felt committed to the youth and pointed out that never in the history of the UASD had an expansion project of the high house of studies like now.
In addition to the start of UASD facilities in Cotui, the government of President Abinader has begun work on the construction of subcenters of the Alta Casa de Estudios in Azua, Hato Mayor Elias Piña and Dajabon.
