In this thriller, based on the literary classic The Count of Monte Cristo From Alexandre Dumas, William Levy stars as Edmund Dantes/Alejandro Montecristo, a businessman who founds a successful technology company and fights against the system. Although it is a very modern version of Dumas’s work, in this installment betrayal, revenge and love also mark the narrative.

The six-episode series, filmed in the Canary Islands and in Madrid, was directed by Alberto Ruiz-Rojo and the script was written by Lidia Fraga and Jacobo Díaz.
