Many wanted to see Jesus. Some, out of mere curiosity like Herod; others, out of interest in getting something: food, miracles, listening to nice words or reassuring his conscience. There were also some who wanted to see him because they were looking for God.
In our days, the same thing happens. Discounting the curious and those interested in some benefit, there are not many who seek the Lord wanting to find the true meaning of life and are willing to enter into an authentic process of conversion. Let’s not forget, Jesus is not a famous actor or a supermarket, but a life proposal. Peace and good.
