Three people died in a fire in Berisso, including a 5-year-old boy

A 5-year-old boy, a 16-year-old teenager and a 23-year-old man died today in a fire that broke out around noon in a house in the Buenos Aires town of Berisso, it was officially reported.

The deceased identified as Santimo Uriel Leytes, 5 years old, Carla Lucía Lezica, 16, and Jonathan Ezequiel Thies, 23.

Three other elderly people were hospitalized.as confirmed from the place by the head of Civil Defense of Berisso, Roberto Scafati and the officer in charge of Firefighters, Mario Belonni.

Both officials reported that the fire, for reasons that are not established, occurred in a house located on 166th Street, between 13 and 14 Berisso.

Those hospitalized were identified as Leites Lozano (mother of the child), Micaela Leites and Vilma Santillan.

Three Volunteer Fire Engines, three SAME ambulances and Civil Defense personnel were still working at the scene.

The fire destroyed the house and spread to one side of the CEYE club in Berissowhere a volleyball match was being played, which was completely evacuated by the authorities, without inconvenience among the athletes.

The fact is labeled as cause of death investigation.
