The technical director of the senior soccer team, Thomas Christiansen, recovered from Covid-19 and is already practicing with the national team, in preparation for the match with Costa Rica on January 27.

The Spanish-Danish coach will be traveling to San José with the rest of the team this Tuesday, January 25.

The news that was shared by the Panamanian Soccer Federation (Fepafut), comes after Christiansen held a press conference on January 21 stating that being at home prior to the match against Costa Rica was “unsustainable” and that he needed to rejoin early.

The news of the contagion of the director was given on January 17, after the Panama match against Peru.
