The President of Spain, Pedro Sánchez Pérez-CastejónI arrive this tuesday august 23 to Colombia to meet with the new Head of State, Gustavo Petro.

The Spanish president arrived at the CATAM military base in Bogotá, where he was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Álvaro Leyva Durán.
In the morning it will be meeting, in the Casa de Nariño, with President Gustavo Petro, and previously will participate in a business forum where leaders from different sectors and Colombian and Spanish investors will also attend.
In the afternoon, Sánchez will be part of a symbolic act that will take place at the Center for Memory, Peace and Reconciliation.
(MinHacienda will seek an increase in the budget for the Government).
And, to end the day, he is expected to attend an event with representatives of the Spanish community in Colombia.
