The Oral Federal Criminal Court No. 1 of San Martín will announce this Wednesday the verdict in the mega-cause of Campo de Mayowhich will end the oral and public trial that began on April 29, 2019 and where more than 300 witnesses testified about the crimes against humanity committed during the last civic-military dictatorship.
The court is made up of judges Daniel Gutierrez, who presided over the debate; Silvina Mayorga; and Nada Flores Vega.
In a hearing that will be face-to-face and will also be broadcast on the networks, The reading of the verdict is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.and will take place in the Pueyrredón 3728 Courtroom, between San Lorenzo and Intendente Campos, from the San Martín district of Buenos Aires.

In dialogue with Télamprosecutor Gabriela Sosti recalled that “after the extraordinary judicial fair, decreed in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the trial resumed electronically on May 27, 2020” and its development was carried out throughout “126 hearings, during which 327 people provided testimonial statements.”
In the debate, which accumulated 13 files, 19 people accused of crimes against humanity that occurred in the Defense Zone IV by the Command of Military Institutes of Campo de Mayo during the last military dictatorship were judged.
The defendants were Luis del Valle Arce; Bernard Knight; Miguel Count; Carlos Eduardo Jose Somoza; Mario Ruben Dominguez; Hugo Miguel Castgano Monge; Arnaldo Julio Roman; Santiago Omar Riveros; Eugenio Guañabens Perello; Carlos Daniel Caimi; Luis Sadi Pepa; Ramon Vito Cabrera; Roberto Julio Fusco; Francisco Rolando Agostino; Raul Guillermo Pascual Munoz; Alfredo Oscar Arena; Carlos Javier Tamini; Federico Ramirez Mitchell; Luis Pacifico Britos and Carlos Alberto Rojas.
“Of the defendants, 12 do not record previous sentences,” the prosecutor specified, adding that “the factual platform of the trial was made up of the facts that harmed 347 victims.”
They took part in the debate, without prejudice to the sponsorship unifications presented, 19 complaints, between organizations and private complainants.
