The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced that the swabbing centers located in the Rod Carew stadium, in Via Centenario, and in Emilio Royo, in Juan Diaz, will operate from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon, this Wednesday 8 from December; this, due to the celebration of Mother’s Day.

Previously, the health authorities indicated that the swabbing positions nationwide will remain open all the remaining holidays of the year (December 8 and 25).

Panama currently accumulates 479,053 cases of Covid-19 and 7,374 deaths from this disease.

In the last hours, Minsa personnel applied 4,864 tests to detect coronavirus, 222 being positive. The authorities recommend going for swabs in case of presenting any symptoms or having had contact with a positive person.
