This Tuesday, August 16, agricultural fairs will be held in West Panama and in the Ngäbe Buglé Comarca

This Tuesday, August 16, the Agricultural Marketing Institute (IMA) will carry out agricultural fairs in the districts of Cerro Pelado and Camarón Arriba, belonging to the Ngäbe Buglé region, as announced by the entity, reiterating that they are carrying out work for the installation of new farm shops to offer the population basic and cheap food.

They announced that on that same day, an agricultural fair will be held in the Libertador park in La Chorrera, Panama Oeste province, where farmers and artisans will be offering their products.

They highlighted that in the Panama Merca and the regional headquarters of the IMA in Santiago, province of Veraguas, significant progress has been made in the adjustments, so it is expected to start serving consumers soon.

The general director of the IMA, Carlos Motta Nuques, reported that agro-stores will be set up in other parts of the country and that they will continue to hold agricultural fairs, both in counties and provinces.
