This is how Gustavo Petro and Rodolfo Hernández voted in the second round

Start the countdown to find out who will be the next President of Colombia. From 8:00 am on June 19, the polls were opened at the national level to define, in the second electoral round, between Gustavo Petro and Rodolfo Hernández who will hold the highest political position for the next 4 years.

Rodolfo Hernández, from the Anti-Corruption Governors Leaguevoted as soon as the polls opened, at 8:00 a.m. He did so at Colegio Santander, in Bucaramanga, despite the fact that he had announced that he would visit the polls at 12:00 p.m.

The former mayor of Bucaramanga will meet throughout Sunday at the headquarters of his ‘Casa Nariño’ campaign. The candidate for the Historical Pact, Gustavo Petro He visited the Divino Niño Church, in the 20 de Julio neighborhood (Bogotá), before the polls opened and, around 10:40 am, he registered his vote at the Marco Antonio Carreño School, in Puente Aranda. He was accompanied by his wife, Verónica Alcocer, and her daughters Sofía and Antonella.

After casting his vote, the former mayor of Bogotá pointed out “For young people, for women, fundamentally, the polls await them to change the history of Colombia. We undoubtedly have to defeat any attempt at fraud with a massive vote.”
