The agreement was sealed in the context of the third edition of the Fair Hainan International Consumer Goods, in which Cuba has an exhibition area and promotes leading products from its exportable portfolio, adds the information.
This Thursday the stand celebrated the first anniversary of the “Excelencias de Cuba” pavilion, opened on the digital platform JD.com and considered a pioneer in the insertion of the island in the electronic commerce of the Asian nation.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Cuban diplomatic mission in China, authorities from the Hainan government, directors of JD.com and representatives of other companies, the outlet specified.

The fair
The International Consumer Goods Fair runs from April 10 to 15 in Hainan, focused on strengthening the tourist region’s appeal as China’s largest free trade port.
Italy is the guest of honor country and more than 4,000 high-end national and foreign firms are also participating, specializing in sectors such as jewelry, food and health products, PL specifies.
The foreign companies come from 65 countries and this year they expanded the exhibition area to 120,000 square meters due to the increase in participants.
With this exhibition, China intends to promote its double circulation formula, which gives greater weight to business, production and domestic expenses, without abandoning international cooperation.
