The Prosecutor’s Office (Public Ministry) opened, this Tuesday, April 11, an investigation against the mayor of the Colombian municipality of Calima El Darién, Martín Mejía, for undressing in a nightclub, something that the local president blamed on being drugged.

The agency detailed that it opened “a disciplinary investigation against“Mejía for the”alleged irregularities“what did he commit when exhibiting”her genitals while dancing and trying to undress when she was having a conversation in a nightclub” of Calima El Darién, in the department of Valle del Cauca.
In videos posted on social networks, the official is seen dancing in a nightclub when he begins to undress, something that has caused controversy.

Officials from the municipality’s mayor’s office told local media that the president was drugged and that is why he is admitted to a hospital.

Duvalier Sanchez, Representative to the Chamber for Valle del Cauca and member of the Green Alliance, the party of which the mayor is a part, assured that he will ask the ethics committee of that political movement for an investigation and to file “the sanctions that apply“.
