Establecerán Sistema de Administración de Peajes para mejorar carreteras y autopistas del país

The Sectoral Vice President of Public Works and Services, G/J Néstor Reverol, held a meeting with the general secretaries of the regional governments and the representatives of the 64 tolls in the country, to implement a Toll Administration System throughout the national territory, in order to improve highways and expressways.

At the meeting, which took place in the Vuelvan Caras Hall of the Military Circle of Caracas, Reverol Torres stressed the importance of analyzing the technological fields, tariffs and road safety that favor drivers and the vehicle fleet.

He stressed that the policy of tolls by the Bolivarian Government must include a restructuring, reorganization and redeployment, in order to collect the resources that are required, to maintain road arteries in good condition, through optimal lighting, excellent traffic signaling , towing and patrol services in aid of drivers

This meeting was also attended by the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, and the Deputy Minister of that same office, Claudio Farías.
