The staff of the Food Control and Veterinary Surveillance (CAVV), Environmental Sanitation and Vector Control departments of the Los Santos Health region are prepared for the operation that starts this Wednesday, July 19, to mark the start of the festivities in honor to the virgin Santa Librada, patron saint of Las Tablas.
Prior to these actions, the Vector Control team reinforced the misting of the Porras de Las Tablas park and sectors where there will be a greater concentration of people, likewise, the personnel of the Environmental Sanitation, Food Control and Surveillance departments. Veterinary Medicine (CAVV), is prepared to maintain a constant presence in permanent and mobile food and beverage outlets during the festival that runs until Sunday, July 23.
The Minsa, through the aforementioned departments, verifies the validity of the white and green health card, cold chain, expiration date of the products, clothing of the personnel who work in the establishments and conditions of the premises, among them, bathrooms and hygienic conditions; In addition, compliance with current tobacco regulations is verified.
Failure to comply with sanitary regulations results in fines, suspension and even closure of establishments or street food vendors.
