Two citizens who were traveling in a Kia Picanto vehicle, with false tickets in Coronado, Chame district, were apprehended by the National Police.
Through a preventive tour, police units achieved the apprehension of these subjects who, when verified by the uniformed officers, one of these citizens kept in his possession money in denominations of 20 and 5 dollars, which at the time of their review turned out to be false.
Deputy Commissioner Vasco Rodríguez, head of the Chame Police Zone, said that these people used the fake money to defraud wallets in the area.
It should be noted that those arrested have records related to cases of robbery, theft and counterfeiting of coins and other values, they were brought before the competent authorities for due process.
