For the consolidation of the ties of friendship and cooperation between Venezuela – South Africa, at the headquarters of the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, in Pretoria, the road map was drawn for the celebration of the first Binational Mixed Commission, refers portal of VTV.
In addition to sharing analysis of the respective national situations and international geopolitics, the meeting reviewed the bilateral agenda, negotiation agreements and cooperation projects in the sectors of energy, culture, education, commerce, popular power, agriculture, fishing, fishing, housing and sport, among others.
During the meeting between the Deputy Minister for Africa of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yuri Pimentel, on the Venezuelan side; and the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, Alvin Botes, by the South African part, the first meeting of the political consultation mechanism was held according to the Memorandum of Understanding between both Chancellors signed in 2007.
At the end of the meeting, both parties highlighted their commitment to work jointly in the growth of bilateral relations, in order to consolidate a strategic alliance of shared interests.
