Santiago – Investigative police agents in conjunction with the Public Ministry carried out a search, by court order no. 10233-2022, in a residence, seizing illegal firearms, narcotics, among other objects, also resulting in two people arrested last Saturday in this city.
The detainees are Starlin Javier Bonilla and Jesica Maria Nuñez Hernández, both residents of a residence located on the Los Miranda highway in the Las Palomas sector of this province.
During the operation, the Taurus 24/7 9-millimeter caliber pistols, series no. TAP74577, other make TP9 SF Canik, gauge 9, serial no. T6472-20, AT32400 and an illegible brand revolver, 38 caliber, serial no. 594763 without documents, four magazines, one of them with a capacity of 30 capsules.
In addition, a bulletproof vest was seized, a portion of a vegetable, presumably marijuana, weighing approximately 15 grams, as well as the Hyundai brand car, white LF model, license plate no. PP408335.
As for the detainees, upon being purged in our police files, Starlyn Javier Bonilla appears with a record for robbery dated 12/16/2017, in addition to a 12-year sentence pending execution, for violating articles 379, 382, 385, 386 subsections 1, 2 and 3 of the Dominican Penal Code (robbery).
Regarding firearms, when consulted in the Police System, one figure in the name of an agent of the institution of order and the others do not provide data, they together with the detainees are in the possession of the Public Ministry for the coming ends.
