According to the account given by the businessman on May 11 at the Supervisory Commission, which is investigating the Sarratea case, on that occasion Gómez Medina took him to a room with the other three under investigation so that they could communicate with their lawyers, but at one point he called him aside and told him that the head of the Ministry of Justice was waiting for him to speak with him. via satellite phone.

I decided, Mr. Congressman, not to call for security because I can think that they are recording and that, suddenly, I do not know what they can tell me and that could complicate my situation in this prison and I decided not to speak or in some investigation. (…) And I told him that he better bring the message and the message was… and I decided not to call”, was what Villaverde declared in front of the parliamentarians.

Fourth Estate also detailed that in that room to which he was taken Zamir Villaverde there are no security cameras, so the version he provided cannot be confirmed, but neither can it be denied.
